Welcome to the website of the family-owned Maxík Mountain Chalet, which is located in the Jizera Mountains at an altitude of 720 m above sea level. The chalet was built in 1990, and stands on a large area of privately-owned land near a forest on the outskirts of Dolní Maxov, part of the village of Josefův Důl.
It offers comfortable accommodation for a maximum of six guests in two separate bedrooms. The chalet is hired complete, and all energy expenses are included in the price of your stay.

The pleasant interior is both suitable for families with children and for groups of friends.
The chalet can be hired whatever the weather, and convenient parking is available right outside the building (approx. 50 metres from the building in winter).

The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding mountain resorts (Bukovka, Tanvaldský špičák, Bedřichov), while there is also room for quieter activities, as the area is not particularly busy. Other possibilities include walks in the forest or trips to lookout towers and nearby rock formations. In the summer months, when the weather is fine, you can visit a natural swimming pool in Josefův Důl, which is roughly 2.5 km away.
